We take pride in meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of the Illawarra's diverse communities.
As a publicly-owned service, we are committed to helping people of all backgrounds and abilities access our services and facilities.
We regularly talk with local religious and cultural leaders to understand their communities' memorial, burial and mourning needs.
We also work with our customers on a case-by-case basis to support any special requests where possible. If you have a special request or a question, please contact us.
If you need to contact us in a language other than English, please see Wollongong City Council's Language Services page. This page includes details for local interpreter services, and Language Aides who may be able to help during Council business hours.
