Traditional Monument Section

This section features sites suitable for granite monuments which cover the entire grave. Monuments are built back-to-back, facing either east or west. There is a path at the foot of each site.

Please note: Sites in this section are at need only. This means they are only available for purchase in the event someone has passed, and are not available to purchase for future use.

Number of interments per site: 1 or 2

Burial licence (reservation): $3,835

Interment fee (applies at time of burial): $1,900 (weekdays). Higher rates apply on weekends - see our Fees and Charges page for details.

Type of marker: Monument (not included in cost).

A monumental mason approved by Wollongong City Council will assist the family with the placement of the monument. See our Headstones and Monuments page for more information.
